Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote workplace model, while also facilitating interactions in a climate-controlled office setting at our Hospice Center. The position requires individuals to engage daily in movements throughout the facility and collaborate with various clinical team members and healthcare providers, fostering a cohesive approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with a range of mental health concerns related to their cancer diagnosis, utilizing tools and methodologies such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to form an accurate clinical picture.

• Design, implement, and continually assess individualized treatment plans that are culturally sensitive and tailored to each patient’s unique needs, ensuring ongoing evaluation of their progress toward mental health goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and approaches to promote recovery and symptom management, offering interventions that are responsive to the changing needs of patients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records, reports, and clinical information, complying with regulatory and departmental standards using contemporary technologies.

• Collaborate closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive, goal-oriented, and achievable treatment strategies.
\n
• Facilitate connections to community resources and referrals, acting as a liaison between patients and appropriate treatment options to ensure continuity of care.

• Provide mentorship, education, and supervision for students and interns to foster their professional development within the mental health field.
\n
• Participate in peer review activities and clinical collaboration when directed by clinical supervisors, contributing to ongoing team development and quality assurance efforts.

You will primarily work with individuals and families affected by cancer, providing them with tailored mental health interventions that address both emotional and psychological needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Must possess a current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to this attractive compensation package, new hires will be eligible for a sign-on bonus, further enhancing the benefits of joining our team.
