Mainframe Programmer/DeveloperLocation: Pennington, NJOnsite: 3 days a weekContract: 6-18 monthsInterview process: 1 video interview then one face to face interview (must face to face)Must have: Cobol, DB2, JCL, mainframe batch processing (midnight cycles/end of day), good communication skillsWhat will make this person get the job: if they have former client experience.Core Requirements:COBOLDB2JCLMainframe batch processing (end-of-day / midnight cycles)Environment Specifics:Fully classic mainframe environmentNo CICS involvement neededCovers full lifecycle of batch-oriented processingNice To Have's:• Agile framework experience requiredTools:Jira / HorizonEndevor (code repository)ISPW (nice to have; transitioning toward it)Octane (testing; previously test scripts)Exposure to Copilot for code rewrites/modificationsCandidate Profile:Strong communication skills (critical due to offshore coordination)Calm demeanor / steady personalityAble to collaborate across multiple stakeholdersPositive attitude + team-orientedComfortable in daily standups and Agile workflows
