Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager

About the Role The Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of our hybrid IT infrastructure. This role ensures performance, security, and scalability of both cloud-based and on-premise systems while leading a team of infrastructure professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Manage a Data Center Operations Team responsible for installation, maintenance, and operation of IT infrastructure. Ensure electrical, HVAC, and other data center environmental systems are monitored; warnings and alarms are inspected and triaged in a timely manner. Develop strategies and plans for the implementation of IT solutions. Maintain complete and accurate inventories of infrastructure assets, configurations, and related systems. Manage and coordinate work projects for system installation, upgrades, and maintenance. Manage budgets and contracts related to IT systems and vendors. Develop contingency plans and risk‑management processes to ensure business continuity. Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for the assigned job function and maintain knowledge of regulatory changes. Complete all required annual and job‑specific training and follow all bank policies and procedures. Coach, mentor, or train others and deliver coursework as a subject‑matter expert. Actively learn, demonstrate, and foster the Columbia corporate culture. Take personal initiative, act as a positive example, and embrace the vision to become the "Business Bank of Choice". Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 7‑10 years of infrastructure operations experience with supervisory, management, and administrative responsibilities; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment. Proficiency in making decisions with minimal direction. Creative, change‑oriented continuous‑improvement process skills. Strong written, oral, communication, and facilitation skills. Self‑starter who is assertive and energetic. Experience in project management. Experience in vendor management and negotiations. Travel Requirements Occasional. Pay Range $126,000.00 - $165,000.00 (dependent on qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location).
