Customer Experience Specialist

We're looking for a Manufacturing Customer Experience Specialist who enjoys building customer relationships, managing opportunities, and helping customers find manufacturing solutions. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing inside sales, estimating, account management, or customer experience who enjoys collaborating with engineering, sourcing, and operations to move projects from opportunity to purchase order. Your Mission You will own the customer experience before the Purchase Order. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for new opportunities, RFQs, quotations, and customer communication while partnering with internal teams to deliver timely, accurate, and competitive manufacturing solutions. Once a Purchase Order is received, you'll transition the project to our Customer Experience Coordinator, who manages production through delivery. What You'll Do: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Manage customer opportunities from RFQ through Purchase Order. Prepare and coordinate customer quotations with engineering, sourcing, and operations. Communicate with customers regarding project requirements, pricing, lead times, and technical questions. Follow up on open quotations and identify opportunities to win new business. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive quotes. Maintain customer activity, quotations, and opportunity tracking within our CRM and ERP systems. Provide exceptional communication throughout the quoting process. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the customer experience. What We're Looking For: 3+ years of experience in manufacturing inside sales, customer experience, account management, estimating, or sales support. Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or OEM environment. Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings or willingness to learn. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with ERP systems such as Mie Trak™™, JobBOSS™, Epicor, SAP, Global Shop, or similar manufacturing software. CRM experience (Salesforce experience is a plus). Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy. You'll Thrive Here If You: Enjoy building long-term customer relationships.
