Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by clients in detox.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team, ensuring each client receives individualized care.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions to promote mental and emotional well-being.
\n
• Act as a liaison between clients and external community agencies to enhance resources and support systems available to clients.
\n
• Document all treatment plans and client progress in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with legal and administrative standards.

• Provide crisis intervention and evaluation, responding effectively and calmly when immediate action is required.

• Encourage client advocacy and disposition planning to help clients transition from detox to ongoing support services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing substance use disorders, particularly those undergoing detoxification treatment. You will engage with clients who may be facing complex social and emotional challenges, and your expertise will help facilitate their recovery journey. Understanding child development, parenting, and the impact of abuse or neglect will also be valuable in supporting the familial aspects of addiction recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health services, preferably within a health-related or addiction treatment setting.

• Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to continuing education in the field of social work.

• Comprehensive understanding of Department of Mental Health billing processes and paperwork requirements.

• Experience working within a detox or rehabilitation environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
