Title
Correctional RN - RN

Schedule
- Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 10 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- If no corrections experience: Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience, or 2 years of medical-surgical nursing in a busy facility
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, MOAB (MOAB training provided during the first week, must pass)
- Vaccines: Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine optional

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide routine and emergency care to inmates, including triage and assessment of new admissions
- Conduct detox rounds and manage substance withdrawal as necessary
- Respond to sick/urgent care requests from inmates
- Coordinate referrals for dental, mental health, and other provider services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including pharmacy and rapid response teams
- Perform nursing procedures, including wound care and monitoring vital signs

Compliance / Notes
- Documentation due: Submit required documents by 10 days prior to start
- Drug screen: Required within 30 days of start
- Minimum assignment length: 10 weeks
- No local candidates within a 100-mile radius; non-local driver's license required on file
