Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU

NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Shift: Nights

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year NICU experience
• Travel experience required; previous travel preferred
• Certifications: BLS, NRP
• Experience with patient ratios: 1:1 to 1:4

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced care to critically ill neonates in an intensive care setting.
• Monitor and manage respiratory support including ventilator modes and CPAP.
• Administer medications and manage IVs and blood products as needed.
• Conduct neonatal assessments and apply interventions for conditions such as sepsis and hyperbilirubinemia.
• Support families through education and assistance with feeding and developmental care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care of neonates.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• Float to like units as needed
• Pre-approved time off: two (per contract)
• Pending NM/Compact license accepted (must be obtained prior to start)
• Must attend required onsite modules during orientation
• Max of 4 days can be auto-approved for time off
