Our client, a leading management-side labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Los Anglesoffice . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced associate to work on sophisticated employment matters for a diverse client base, including complex wage and hour , PAGA , and class action litigation. The role offers meaningful responsibility, client interaction, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative, high-performing employment law team. Candidate Profile JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing 4-7 years of substantive labor and employment law experience Significant experience handling wage and hour , PAGA , and class action matters, including matters in state and federal courts Strong background advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Arbitration, mediation, or trial experience is required. Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within team-based environments Comfortable with and open to using AI-driven and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them effectively to boost efficiency, improve client service, and enhance legal work output Prior large or sophisticated law firm experience preferred Key Responsibilities Represent employers in wage and hour , PAGA , and class action litigation matters Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters , from inception through resolution Advise clients on compliance with evolving California and federal employment laws Draft motions , briefs , memoranda , and other litigation filings Participate in discovery , including depositions, document review, and preparation of discovery responses Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and settlement documentation Represent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical solutions tailored to client needs Why Join Us?
