Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for clients.
\n
• Providing individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Facilitating group therapy sessions focused on specific themes such as trauma recovery, grief, or LGBTQ+ issues.
\n
• Maintaining detailed and accurate client records in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for your clients.
\n
• Attending regular supervision sessions and continuing education opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and grow within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on diverse patients, including children, adolescents, and adults dealing with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will be respectful and sensitive to cultural and individual needs, ensuring an inclusive approach tailored to each client's background. Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are integral to our commitment to serving the Latino community and enhancing accessibility.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or an approved related field.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to facilitate bilingual psychotherapy sessions in both English and Spanish.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting addressing the needs of children, adults, and families.
\n
• A commitment to respecting the unique cultural and individual needs of clients.
\n
• A willingness to provide services as an in-network provider on at least one insurance panel.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and automobile insurance, as occasional in-person sessions may be required.
