Respiratory Therapist – UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion – Aurora, CO Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion – Aurora, CO Department: Respiratory Care FTE: Full Time, 0.9; 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $31.61 – $47.41 per hour (dependent on relevant experience) Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered as a Respiratory Therapist – Colorado BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuer) with card in hand before start date; card must be valid for at least 60 days after hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) NRP certification obtained within 1 year if assigned to NICU PALS certification obtained within 1 year if assigned to ED Responsibilities Provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care using respiratory therapy protocols to promote optimized care Partner effectively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional care outcomes Prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based practice perspectives Precept and model proficiency for new healthcare staff and UCHealth colleagues Welcome new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care New Graduate Program We offer programs that provide mentoring and professional development to increase competency and proficiency for newly graduated respiratory therapists.
