Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, requiring travel within the West Palm Beach area to provide in-home services. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans that aim to alleviate pain, restore function, and enhance overall mobility for clients suffering from orthopedic conditions.
• Conduct thorough evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess clients' muscle, joint, and functional capabilities, tailoring treatment strategies based on individual needs.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants during therapeutic sessions to ensure the effective delivery of prescribed care.
• Administer manual therapies such as therapeutic exercises and modalities, and instruct clients on non-manual exercises to help achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Regularly assess each client's home environment for safety and accessibility, providing actionable recommendations to help improve their independence.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to document client progress and treatment efficacy.
• Engage actively in clinical and case conferences to facilitate a holistic approach to patient management.
• Instruct clients and their families on how to use rehabilitation devices and ensure they understand the complete therapy program, fostering their involvement in the healing process.

The patient population includes individuals with orthopedic conditions that necessitate specialized rehabilitation services. Our clients range from post-surgical patients needing physical therapy to individuals with chronic conditions affecting mobility and functional independence. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy is essential.

• Proficient in using electronic medical records and documentation tools.

Compensation and Benefits

Next Step Physical Therapy & Wellness Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
