Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with a focus on assessing their physical capabilities, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans aimed at enhancing strength, mobility, and functional independence.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise regimens, and patient education to address physical impairments.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on evolving needs and outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to provide holistic and coordinated patient care.
• Empower patients and their families by educating them on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to sustain health improvements.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and maintain professional standards in accordance with state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and those dealing with chronic pain or mobility issues. Our diverse client base includes individuals of all ages, from active adults to seniors, all seeking effective strategies and support for their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a physical therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Prior experience working with geriatric patients and those post-surgery is highly desirable.
