Work Environment

Located in the beautiful surroundings of West Palm Beach, our center offers a welcoming atmosphere equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and modalities tailored for orthopedic rehabilitation. Our Physical Therapists work in a close-knit setting where teamwork and communication are paramount. Each day features a structured schedule allowing therapists to focus on patient care from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluations of patients' conditions, utilizing both historical information and specific assessment tools to determine the most effective treatment plan.
• Implement personalized treatment protocols based on thorough evaluations, continually adapting interventions to address changes in patient conditions and recovery goals.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner, detailing the course of treatment through focused initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress.
• Conduct thorough discharge planning, guiding patients in self-care strategies and exercise programs to maintain their mobility and independence beyond therapy.
• Maintain compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations, completing all required training and certifications meticulously.
• Engage in facility meetings and professional development activities to enhance team collaboration and individual skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy team focuses primarily on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions. You will work with a diverse range of patients, from active adults to the elderly, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches to succeed in their rehabilitation journey. The holistic perspective of our center allows you to address not just physical rehabilitation but also emotional and mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A current physical therapy license to practice in Florida is mandatory.
• CPR certification is necessary to ensure patient safety during treatment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in managing and treating complex patient cases.
• Experience in home care settings is a plus, as our role involves providing care in patient homes when required.

Compensation and Benefits
