Empower Concierge Rehab and PT is actively seeking a dedicated and adaptable Orthopedic Floater Physical Therapist (DPT) to join our passionate team in Palm Beach, Florida. Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient office facilities in Palm Beach, Florida. You will have the chance to engage with a variety of clinical settings, including orthopedic-focused centers. The flexible work schedule of Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allows for a balanced work-life dynamic. As a floater therapist, you will travel between our locations based on patient needs, with travel compensation options provided to ensure ease of mobility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reassessments to develop tailored physical therapy interventions.
• Create and implement unique treatment plans based on individual patient goals, clinical findings, and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other allied health professionals, to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Provide care across multiple clinic settings, addressing staffing needs and contributing to an efficient workflow.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Educate patients and their families on self-management, home exercise plans, and strategies for injury prevention.
• Support safe mobility and discharge planning by coordinating with case managers and social workers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, primarily focusing on those recovering from orthopedic surgeries and musculoskeletal conditions. The patient population may also include individuals seeking rehabilitation from sports injuries, post-operative care, or chronic pain management. Your role is essential in facilitating the recovery process and enhancing the overall quality of life for our clients.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida or eligibility to obtain prior to hire.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• Demonstrated exceptional clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel among various clinic locations within the region as the need arises, with mileage or vehicle support provided.
• Flexibility to accommodate occasional weekend or holiday shifts when necessary.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years' experience is preferred, we welcome applications from new graduates who have completed intensive clinical rotations and exhibit a strong foundation of clinical skills. Ideal candidates will have experience in outpatient orthopedics and familiarity with treatment protocols relevant to a diverse patient demographic.

• Competitive annual salary within the range of $80,000 – $90,000.
