Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient clinic located in beautiful West Palm Beach, Florida, where the tropical climate and vibrant community offer an inviting atmosphere for both patients and team members. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation technologies and resources to provide the best possible care. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customized care to patients, tailoring treatment plans to address their individual goals, needs, and conditions.
• Manage a balanced patient caseload, ensuring each patient receives the focused time and attention required for optimal recovery.
• Demonstrate expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing your knowledge and past experiences to inform treatment strategies.
• Implement cost-effective treatments aimed at improving mobility, functionality, and overall physical performance.
• Prioritize non-surgical treatment options to reduce dependency on medications, promoting holistic healing methods.
• Develop and enforce comprehensive care plans incorporating diverse therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that facilitate injury prevention and support rehabilitation goals.
• Use evidence-based techniques to deliver effective interventions that foster positive patient outcomes.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation throughout their therapeutic journey, reinforcing a commitment to their health and wellness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and optimal treatment results.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing patient needs.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments comprehensively and accurately using our EMR system, primarily Web PT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will allow you to assess and understand the unique physical and emotional needs of each patient, providing you the tools to guide them towards effective recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• A clean professional record, free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficiency in a range of manual therapy techniques and exercise programming.
• Ability to effectively utilize EMR software, particularly Web PT, for seamless documentation and patient tracking.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy practices and interventions based on ongoing research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a physical therapy setting that emphasizes outpatient orthopedic care.
• Experience in developing comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and exercise strategies for optimizing recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
