Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility, where our team of two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) collaborates to deliver exceptional therapeutic services. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, creating an environment conducive to innovative rehabilitation practices and patient wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and set achievable goals.
• Manage an hourly caseload of individual patients, ensuring tailored treatment plans aimed at optimizing recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to provide effective interventions that promote mobility and functional independence.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that address individual patient needs.
• Deliver cost-effective treatments focused on enhancing range of motion while reducing reliance on medications.
• Provide thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage with patients to encourage adherence to treatment plans and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity of services.
• Evaluate and monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed for optimal results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients seeking rehabilitation following surgery, injury, or chronic pain conditions. Our clients are diverse, ranging from athletes striving to return to peak performance to elderly patients aiming to regain daily functional abilities. Your role will greatly influence their recovery journey, providing them with the care and support necessary for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
• Valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Proven experience in orthopedic settings, particularly in outpatient care.
• Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Proficient in utilizing WebPT EMR Software for patient documentation and care management.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Effective communication skills to foster relationships with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a PT-owned practice and understanding of claims and insurance processes.
• Expertise in rehabilitation for sports-related injuries and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Experience providing wellness programs tailored to diverse age groups and fitness levels.

Compensation and Benefits
