Work Environment

The Floater Physical Therapist will operate primarily in outpatient office settings, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a dynamic clinical environment. You will engage with different clinic sites daily, responding promptly to patient care needs and staffing requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed physical therapy evaluations and provide ongoing reassessments to track patient progress.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient-specific goals and clinical assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational, and speech therapists to create a cohesive treatment plan that addresses all aspects of patient care.
• Flexibly cover multiple outpatient clinic sites to meet organizational and patient needs while ensuring quality care continuity.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient treatments and progress reports in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Advise patients and their families on home exercise regimens, mobility strategies, and methods to prevent further injuries.
• Foster safe mobility practices and participate in discharge planning alongside case management and social work teams.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred; however, recent graduates with comprehensive clinical rotations will be considered.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required prior to employment.
• Exceptional clinical reasoning and strong communication skills are essential for patient engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation, especially in managing diverse patient demographics and conditions.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic documentation systems for efficient patient care management.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this full-time position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer:
