Work Environment

This position operates in the comfort of patients' homes within the Boynton Beach area, allowing therapists to create a personalized and effective treatment atmosphere. Working from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will engage directly with clients in a familiar environment, which has shown to enhance recovery outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to identify functional limitations and needs.
• Establish realistic, attainable goals in collaboration with patients and caregivers, ensuring alignment with their personal objectives.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions, therapeutic exercises, and wellness education.
• Educate patients and their families on proper exercises, self-care techniques, and rehabilitation strategies to promote compliance and independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, physical therapy assistants, and other healthcare providers, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policy, ensuring that all patient progress reports are thorough and reflective of each individual's pathway to recovery.
• Create a supportive and motivating rehabilitation environment that encourages patients to overcome challenges and achieve milestones.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of patients, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions such as arthritis or back pain, and rehabilitating after sports injuries. This role is particularly focused on understanding the unique needs of each patient, allowing for the holistic application of treatment plans in the comfort of their own homes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; candidates with advanced degrees (DPT) are encouraged to apply.
• While a minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience is preferred, we welcome new graduates seeking mentorship as they begin their careers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate patients and families effectively and compassionately.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
