Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify individual goals and needs, ensuring a personalized approach to care.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, seeing one patient per hour to deliver focused, individualized treatment.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that integrate various therapeutic techniques, aimed at improving mobility and functional capabilities.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to address specific muscular and skeletal issues that affect patients' movement.
• Evaluate patients' progress continuously and document each interaction meticulously to track treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
• Encourage patients through their rehabilitation journey, motivating them to adhere to home exercise programs and lifestyle changes that enhance their recovery.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, improving overall outcomes.
• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy, effectively incorporating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries or chronic injuries, as well as individuals looking to improve their physical health and prevent future complications. This role requires a strong capacity for empathy combined with technical expertise, as you will engage with patients across diverse backgrounds and health challenges.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or MPT) is required.
• A valid physical therapy license to practice in the state of Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program implementation.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, for patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to design tailored fitness and wellness programs that target specific patient needs.
• A background in rehabilitation techniques and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous compensation package, we provide:
