Position Overview

Ability Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our outpatient clinic in Greenacres, Florida. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in helping patients regain movement, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall quality of life through intervention and rehabilitation therapy.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our Greenacres outpatient office, situated in a vibrant community known for its supportive atmosphere and accessible healthcare services. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while serving a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions through thorough evaluations to understand their functional limitations and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and specialized equipment to enhance mobility and performance.
• Implement therapeutic interventions while ensuring a compassionate and patient-centered environment, treating 1-2 patients per hour.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, setting clear and achievable goals to monitor outcomes effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to devise comprehensive care strategies and ensure the best patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient population includes athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals with mobility challenges, all benefiting from your specialized skills and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited academic institution.
• Possession of a current and active Florida Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• A strong foundation built from at least two years of clinical experience, with a focus on hands-on patient care and rehabilitation techniques.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, familiarity with orthopedic treatment protocols, manual therapy techniques, and experience in a high-volume patient-care environment are highly favorable. Candidates who have used specific electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation will hold a competitive advantage in our workflow.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
