Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized evaluation and treatment plans for patients, focusing on their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain an optimal patient load, allowing for thorough assessments and dedicated one-on-one time with each individual.
• Apply your knowledge of orthopedic care to implement effective treatment strategies that enhance mobility and relieve pain.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and execute comprehensive care strategies that minimize the need for invasive procedures.
• Motivate patients to adhere to their treatment regimens, encouraging progress and celebrating milestones.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, modifying plans as necessary to achieve optimal patient results.
• Document patient progress and treatments using EMR software, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient cases and share insights for improved outcomes.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and wellness strategies to promote long-term health and fitness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach and the ability to adapt treatment plans to various age groups, from active adolescents to older adults. Your goal will be to empower each patient on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings on your professional licensure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional capability in designing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly Web PT, to manage patient documentation.
• Strong understanding of the latest research-based techniques in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Familiarity with sports medicine and a background in treating athletes recovering from various sports-related injuries will be highly advantageous. You should also possess strong communication skills and be comfortable engaging with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
