Work Environment

As a member of the Tri-County Physical Therapy team, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative rehabilitation facility located in the heart of West Palm Beach. This onsite position enables you to engage directly with patients in person, allowing for hands-on therapeutic care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and document therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care in accordance with individualized plans to enhance recovery and functional capabilities.
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians to optimize patient care, discussing cases and treatment strategies to improve service delivery.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on exercise techniques, self-management strategies, and prevention of re-injury.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Meet defined utilization goals and contribute to the overall operational objectives of the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on orthopedic patients, which may include individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our clinic also serves a diverse client base, including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients, thereby offering a rich variety of cases for you to manage. The practitioner will have the opportunity to make significant impacts on the lives of patients striving to return to their pre-injury levels of function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and basic computer skills.
• Ability to establish rapport and trust with patients, motivating them to achieve and exceed their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will possess experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings, demonstrating proficiency in a variety of therapeutic techniques. Experience in implementing rehabilitation protocols for sports injuries or post-operative care is a valuable asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Tri-County Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, alongside a full benefits package that includes health insurance, performance-based incentives, and a 401(k) plan with profit-sharing options.
