Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions and develop individualized treatment plans to address their specific needs.
• Implement treatment protocols based on best practices and patient progress, ensuring that all interventions are appropriate and necessary.
• Utilize hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care, providing recommendations and facilitating referrals as required.
• Monitor patient improvement, documenting results and adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of patient encounters, treatment progress, and discharge planning in compliance with local and federal regulations.
• Engage in ongoing education to stay current with industry trends and developments that enhance patient care.
• Participate in facility meetings and contribute to discussions aimed at improving patient access and care quality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Current certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
• Demonstrated knowledge of state practice acts and the ability to apply clinical reasoning in patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Strong background in outpatient orthopedic practices with a focus on functional rehabilitation.
• Experience in pain management and chronic condition intervention techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
• Participation in community outreach programs or clinical education is a plus.
