Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, which involve reviewing medical history, performing physical assessments, and establishing treatment goals based on individual needs.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care, including discussing changes in a patient's condition and adjusting their treatment plans as needed.
• Developing, implementing, and modifying treatment protocols that align with evaluation findings and best practices within the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Documenting each patient encounter accurately and in a timely manner, including progress notes and discharge summaries that reflect the patient's treatment journey.
• Maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate policies to ensure high standards of care.
• Engaging with patients, their families, and relevant stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of treatment objectives and progress.
• Participating in regular facility meetings to contribute insights, share experiences, and stay updated with best practices in therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on a diverse range of patients, primarily those dealing with orthopedic issues such as joint pain, post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. By providing tailored rehabilitation strategies and support, you will directly contribute to enhancing their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist is required, we highly value candidates with a background in orthopedic rehabilitation. Compensation and Benefits
