The Physical Therapist role is conducted onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in West Palm Beach. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Lakeland Care Solutions, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Developing and implementing personalized therapy programs based on individual patient assessments, focusing on both physical rehabilitation and educational components.
• Engaging in regular communication with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care and ensure alignment with established treatment goals.
• Utilizing research-driven therapies and modalities to effectively address musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, and sports-related conditions.
• Monitoring patients' progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Providing hands-on therapeutic care and developing targeted exercise programs both in the clinic and, where applicable, in patients' homes.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, treating individuals across various age groups and physical abilities. You will have the chance to work with a wide variety of patients, including those suffering from orthopedic injuries, neurological impairments, and pediatric conditions. With each case, your role will be to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals through tailored programs that address their unique challenges and aspirations.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited institution, with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) being preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A valid Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and basic computer applications for documentation.
• A demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, evidenced by a history of building meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience

This role requires a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in physical therapy. An added advantage would be experience in specific therapeutic settings, including sports medicine, pediatrics, or geriatric care. Experience with multidisciplinary collaboration in rehabilitation will also be highly valued.
