Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day tasks will involve:

• Directing and implementing physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and enhancing muscle function, ensuring they are tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Overseeing the work of physical therapy assistants, providing guidance to ensure accurate execution of care plans.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities using a range of diagnostic and prognostic assessments.
• Assessing patients' home environments to suggest modifications that promote independence in daily activities.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and treatments, such as manual therapy, traction, and modalities that involve physical agents.
• Creating and maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively develop and update comprehensive care plans that address the full scope of client needs.
• Providing education to clients and their families regarding therapy techniques, equipment usage, and ongoing care strategies.
• Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations related to physical therapy services.
• Being available for consultation with patients during their treatment sessions to address any immediate needs or adjustments to their care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with outpatient adults who are recovering from various conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic injuries, and neurological disorders. Our patient population values a personalized approach to care that supports their specific recovery goals, and you will play a critical role in facilitating their rehabilitation journey through strength training, mobility exercises, and education.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid and current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• At least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient care.
• Current CPR certification.
• A demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and clinical excellence.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience

While the above qualifications are essential, the ideal candidate will also have:

Compensation and Benefits
