Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical therapy needs, utilizing standardized assessments and clinical judgment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans targeting specific goals such as pain reduction, improved mobility, and enhanced functional capacity.
• Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Monitor patient progress through accurate tracking and documentation of treatment responses, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
• Engage in regular re-evaluations to assess the effectiveness of treatment strategies and redefine therapeutic goals accordingly.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation protocols and the use of assistive devices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in physical therapy through continuous education, workshops, and collaboration within professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding patients through their recovery journey, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to their unique circumstances and limitations.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Capability in computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation.
• A strong commitment to patient care and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of individuals.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Experience with pediatric and adult populations is beneficial, although new graduates are welcomed and mentored.

Compensation and Benefits
