This position operates mainly in home care settings, allowing our Physical Therapists to visit patients in their residences. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical capabilities and challenges.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring optimal function and mobility, adhering to the physician's directives.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and patient education, to achieve desired outcomes.
• Monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment programs as necessary to ensure effective recovery.
• Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment for patients and their families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and nurses, to maximize patient care.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on home exercises and techniques to support ongoing recovery.
• Meet organizational goals by achieving minimum patient utilization targets while maintaining quality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with Joint Ventures, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric patients, and those requiring sports medicine interventions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by APTA or CAPTE.
• A current state license in Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in Word processing and computer skills for patient documentation and treatment planning.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients, demonstrating a genuine desire to enhance their quality of life through recovery.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a home care setting or outpatient physical therapy practice.
• Experience in treating a broad range of specialties, particularly in orthopedics and pediatrics, is advantageous.
