Vestibule Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This full-time, onsite position will focus on delivering exceptional care to patients in their homes, helping them regain their strength and mobility following injuries or surgeries. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their condition, mobility, and needs.
• Design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that align with the physician's recommendations.
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic care using a variety of techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes, sharing insights and strategies that incorporate evidence-based practices.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on exercises, treatment plans, and self-care strategies to promote independence and awareness.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes, ensuring compliance with Medicare and insurance regulations.
• Set and meet performance-based goals to support organizational objectives and enhance patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric patients, individuals with neurological conditions, and athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries. Each day will present the opportunity to work with a variety of diagnoses, ensuring that you consistently engage with new challenges and expand your expertise in specific areas of therapy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Two or more years of professional experience in physical therapy, ideally with exposure to home care settings.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively connect with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in documentation systems and general computer skills for managing patient records and communications.
• Ability to develop rapport with patients, fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages compliance and engagement in their recovery journey.
• A proactive approach to building relationships within the community to promote health and wellness.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working with home care systems and familiarity with insurance guidelines for billing would be advantageous. Specialized training in areas such as sports medicine or pediatrics will also enhance your ability to succeed in this role.
