Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our facility in beautiful Palm Beach, Florida, where you will work with a team of skilled healthcare professionals in an encouraging atmosphere. The office operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible work schedule. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation tools and technology, ensuring you have the resources necessary to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' needs and establish individualized treatment goals.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans incorporating a range of modalities and therapeutic techniques aimed at restoring function and mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver personalized interventions, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and other innovative rehabilitation strategies.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and communicate updates to patients and relevant healthcare personnel.
• Encourage and motivate patients during sessions to maintain their engagement and commitment to the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide holistic care and comprehensive treatment solutions.
• Promote health and wellness by educating patients on preventive measures, exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
• Manage all administrative aspects of patient care, including documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensuring accurate records of patient encounters.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those with chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and athletes seeking to enhance their performance. Your expertise will support patients of all ages, fostering their recovery from injuries and surgical procedures like knee replacements, rotator cuff repairs, and various sports-related injuries.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Master's or Doctorate) from an accredited program is required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Proficient in orthopedic assessment techniques and treatment interventions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with patients and healthcare staff.
• Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and manage diverse patient personalities is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is highly preferred, particularly with a focus on musculoskeletal injuries.
• Experience with various treatment methodologies including Aqua Therapy, Dry Needling, or Performance Enhancement training will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
