Work Environment

The work environment at Ability Physical Therapy & Wellness is anchored in team collaboration and patient-centered practices. As this role involves home care, the therapist will travel to patients' residences, requiring adaptability and excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly. You will have a manageable caseload, enabling you to provide focused and thorough treatment while maintaining a schedule that typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your expertise will be integral in the following areas:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their rehabilitation needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate patient recovery and enhance mobility.
• Work closely with patients to set achievable goals, track their progress, and adapt treatment strategies based on their evolving needs.
• Ensure that all clinical documentation is completed accurately and within required timelines, adhering to industry guidelines and best practices.
• Engage effectively with patients' families and caregivers, providing education and support to promote understanding and compliance with treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) being preferred.

Preferred Experience
