Work Environment

This role is centered in a home care setting, meaning you will bring rehabilitation services directly to patients' residences, enabling more personalized and scalable care. Our therapy team focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation, working with a diverse patient population who often face mobility challenges due to injury or surgery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patient history and physical condition to develop tailored treatment plans that align with patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Supervise and deliver therapeutic exercises and interventions based on the latest orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, adapting as necessary to maximize patient outcomes.
• Document each patient's progress through precise documentation, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and nursing staff, to optimize patient care and communicate changes in patient conditions effectively.
• Implement and maintain clinical protocols in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring quality care and patient safety.
• Mentor and support junior staff and new graduates within our team while actively participating in case discussions and treatment brainstorming sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients who require physical therapy after surgical interventions or injuries. This may include individuals recovering from joint replacements, fractures, or sports-related injuries. You will employ various evidence-based approaches tailored to each patient's condition, enabling them to regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will possess a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and be licensed to practice in Florida.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is essential.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of hands-on physical therapy experience, specifically in an orthopedic setting, is required. Experience working in a home health care environment is highly valued.
