Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite as you will be providing therapeutic care within patients' homes, ensuring a comfortable and familiar environment for rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to establish tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and physician recommendations.
• Implement and adjust rehabilitation programs for a diverse range of conditions, ensuring alignment with best practices in orthopedic care.
• Utilize advanced techniques and modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to affect positive change in patient condition and functionality.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress accurately and efficiently, maintaining compliance with applicable health regulations and standards.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients' physicians to report on patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Provide educational resources and training to patients and their caregivers, equipping them with the knowledge to continue their recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Contribute to the overall effectiveness and success of the practice by exhibiting excellent customer service and maintaining high patient satisfaction levels.
• Meet utilization and performance goals set by the organization while actively participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. By tailoring therapy to each patient's unique situation, you will play a pivotal role in their healing process, guiding them from injury to restored functionality. The emphasis on home care ensures that you will see each patient in a setting that they find most comfortable, enabling a focused and supportive therapeutic experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (APTA or CAPTE-approved).
• Valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective patient interactions.
• Competence with word processing and basic computer skills to maintain patient records and documentation.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients, motivating them to achieve and exceed their functional goals.
• A desire to build and maintain community relationships to enhance patient engagement and support.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome newly graduated professionals, candidates with prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings or home health care may have a competitive advantage. Familiarity with outcome measurement tools and techniques that promote evidence-based practice is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
