Work Environment

This role offers an engaging onsite work environment where you will visit patients in their homes across the Boynton Beach area. Our Monday to Friday schedule provides a consistent work-life balance, with possible hours from 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM. You will be supported by a collaborative team of healthcare professionals and have access to modern tools and resources designed to optimize patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific orthopedic needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that include guiding patients through active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and activities of daily living.
• Provide gait and functional training to enhance mobility and increase independence.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans and strategies for managing their conditions effectively.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as therapeutic massage, stretching, and other modalities to alleviate pain and improve physical function.
• Collaborate with team members, ensuring effective communication and the highest quality of care are consistently delivered.
• Document patient progress and modify care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal health. You will have the chance to work closely with patients of various ages, developing long-term relationships as you guide them on their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required.
• Exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Strong clinical assessment capabilities, with a focus on evidence-based treatment approaches.

Preferred Experience

• Additional credentialing or board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Prior experience in home health settings and knowledge of best practices for delivering care in a patient's home environment.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting patient interactions and treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
