Work Environment

This position is onsite at our home care facility, where we provide tailored rehabilitative services directly to clients in their homes. This setting allows for a more personalized approach to therapy, ensuring flexibility, comfort, and convenience for our patients. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Team collaboration is essential as you will be working side by side with other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant in a warm and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual patient needs, setting specific goals to assist them on their recovery journey.
• Manage a focused caseload, averaging one patient per hour, to deliver high-quality, individualized treatment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to assess and implement effective treatment plans that enhance mobility and functionality.
• Design and monitor therapeutic exercise programs tailored to the patient's specific diagnosis and progress.
• Educate patients on their conditions and promote non-invasive treatment alternatives to medication and surgery.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and functional training to facilitate recovery.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient documentation in compliance with clinical practices and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate patient outcomes regularly to adjust care plans and report progress effectively.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and share best practices among colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida state license to practice physical therapy.
• A professional track record that demonstrates no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong competence and experience in orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills to complement therapeutic interventions.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software for efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced orthopedic outpatient clinic is highly desirable.
• Demonstrates an understanding of insurance reimbursement and patient management practices.
• Cultural competence to adapt care strategies for a diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
