Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical function and movement ability, developing customized treatment programs to address their specific needs.
• Implementing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to maximize patient outcomes.
• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring a seamless approach to care that may include consultations with physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists.
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintaining meticulous documentation in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
• Leading patient education initiatives to train individuals and caregivers on exercises and preventive strategies, fostering independence and confidence in self-management.
• Continuously seeking to enhance service quality by actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Body Postural Correction Orthopedic Rehab, you will primarily treat a diverse patient population, comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Our focus extends to pediatric, neurologic, and geriatric care, providing a broad range of experiences applicable to various conditions. Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• At least two years of hands-on experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with specialized patient groups, such as athletes or elderly patients, is beneficial. Familiarity with manual therapy techniques and proficiency in instructing therapeutic exercises tailored to individual capabilities will further enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
