Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and functional impairments, allowing for targeted treatment plans.
• Manage an individualized caseload where you will dedicate one hour for each patient to ensure comprehensive and personalized therapeutic care.
• Design and implement treatment protocols that utilize evidence-based methods for improving mobility and overall quality of life.
• Deliver effective interventions aimed at enhancing range of motion, strength, and physical function, while minimizing reliance on medications and unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, ensuring consistent communication about progress and treatment adjustments.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, documenting progress and outcomes to inform future care strategies using WebPT EMR Software.
• Ensure all patient care services are accurately documented, maintaining compliance with professional and legal standards.
• Promote wellness and lifestyle changes through individualized fitness programs that focus on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Mentor and advise junior staff, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Fit Movement, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions that impact mobility and function. This diverse patient population includes athletes seeking to regain peak performance, individuals recovering from joint replacements, and patients with various musculoskeletal conditions. Your role in facilitating their recovery not only enhances their physical abilities but also significantly improves their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record without any administrative actions or disciplinary issues.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation practices.
• Proficient in developing comprehensive exercise protocols suitable for various patient demographics.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software is highly desirable, streamlining documentation and patient management processes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Background in sports medicine or rehabilitation, showcasing a commitment to patient outcomes and wellness initiatives.
• Experience in mentoring or training less experienced staff is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, continuing education allowances, and retirement savings options.
