Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in West Palm Beach. You will experience a schedule comprising 40 hours a week, with variable weekend shifts as needed, ensuring flexibility and the ability for continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients suffering from functional limitations, pain, and disabilities, with a focus on orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals, ensuring a process that is both effective and evidence-based.
• Provide expert consultation to other healthcare providers to ensure seamless continuity of care for patients in rehab and those transitioning through various levels of care.
• Maintain adherence to customer service standards while interacting respectfully with patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that their unique needs and preferences are met.
• Regularly assess treatment progress, evaluate results, and adjust treatment plans accordingly, documenting all findings meticulously in compliance with relevant laws and professional standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and referral sources, to coordinate comprehensive care plans and improve patient outcomes.
• Engage patients and their families through education regarding treatment processes, recovery expectations, and home exercise programs to foster accountability and enhance recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic physical therapists primarily work with adult patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility and physical function. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee in Florida.
• At least two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification to ensure the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is a minimum requirement, applicants with advanced clinical skills in manual therapy techniques, sport-specific rehabilitation, or innovative treatment methodologies will be favored. Experience with electronic medical record systems is also beneficial, as efficient documentation is crucial in promoting effective patient care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
