Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, collecting essential data from various sources, including physician reports, interdisciplinary team insights, and patient interviews.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique goals and challenges of each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols, ensuring patients understand the purpose and benefits of the equipment used.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans and goals based on ongoing assessments and feedback to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, home exercise programs, and preventative measures for maintaining physical health.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including the State Practice Act and relevant insurance requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development programs and interdisciplinary meetings to share knowledge and enhance treatment strategies.
• Act as a mentor to junior staff and contribute to a positive workplace culture by sharing expertise and fostering teamwork.
• Address patient concerns and provide compassionate support, helping them navigate their recovery process effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with a diverse array of patients, tailoring your approach to accommodate their specific age-related and condition-specific needs. This role requires a deep understanding of age-appropriate treatment techniques to ensure optimal care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Florida Physical Therapist license; a temporary permit is also acceptable.
• Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy is highly preferred, showcasing expertise in rehabilitation techniques relevant to this specialty.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
