Work Environment

As a member of our outpatient physical therapy office, you will work in a bright and welcoming setting designed for healing and recovery. You will collaborate with a team of skilled healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, all dedicated to delivering comprehensive patient-centered care. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing a variety of assessment methods to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Develop personalized treatment plans, setting clear and achievable goals in collaboration with patients to enhance their recovery journey.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans based on individual responsiveness and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures to reduce the risk of future injuries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting treatment sessions and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
• Stay informed about the latest research in physical therapy practices and implement evidence-based approaches to improve therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Your role will be crucial in helping patients regain their function and re-establish independence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctoral degree (DPT) is preferred.
• Proficient understanding of current physical therapy modalities and best practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
