Work Environment

This full-time position located onsite at our Rehabilitation Facility offers a dynamic work environment that emphasizes teamwork and professional growth. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to examine, evaluate, and determine appropriate treatment plans for individuals with orthopedic conditions, functional limitations, and disabilities.
• Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding each patient's continuum of care, ensuring seamless transitions and collaboration throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Engage with patients and their families effectively, demonstrating a high standard of customer service that respects diverse backgrounds and individual needs.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, ensuring patient progress is documented accurately and meets productivity standards.
• Maintain meticulous records of evaluations, treatment strategies, and discharge plans, in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as professional standards.
• Foster collaboration within an interdisciplinary treatment team, ensuring open lines of communication among all parties involved in a patient's care.
• Participate in community outreach and educational programs to promote wellness and improve community health, alongside contributing to internal quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members, PTAs, and students, guiding their clinical development and enhancing departmental performance.
• Facilitate clinical education for students and assist in the continuous development of practice skills for all team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory to practice in Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in electronic medical record systems and documentation standards.
• Proficiency in using rehabilitation technologies and tools relevant to orthopedic therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy. Previous work in a rehabilitation setting and familiarity with evolving therapeutic practices will be advantageous, enabling you to contribute effectively to our high standards of care.

Compensation and Benefits
