Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in West Palm Beach, Florida. Work Environment

The work environment at Core Motion is collaborative and supportive. You will be surrounded by two other skilled physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, all working together to foster an atmosphere of patient-centered care. Our team values open communication and mutual respect, ensuring that every professional can contribute to comprehensive treatment plans while enjoying a balanced work-life schedule. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for consistent and dedicated patient engagement within this outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their goals, physical limitations, and individual treatment needs.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused, individualized therapy sessions that maximize recovery potential.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to reduce pain and regain motion, employing manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Design and implement customized care plans that utilize a variety of treatment modalities to address patient conditions effectively.
• Assist in motivating patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging adherence to treatment regimens and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain clear documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions using electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.
• Work collaboratively with a range of healthcare professionals to provide multidisciplinary care and coordinate patient services.
• Elicit feedback from patients to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments in their therapeutic plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and chronic pain management. The focus is on delivering high-quality, individualized care that empowers patients to reach their functional goals. We aim to help patients reduce reliance on medications and invasive surgeries, promoting holistic and preventative healthcare strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• A clean professional record with no past disciplinary actions
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships with patients

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for managing patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
