Work Environment

This position is an onsite role within our modern rehabilitation center, where collaboration and communication are key components of our approach. You will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a supportive environment that prioritizes patient outcomes and professional growth. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' needs to formulate personalized care plans that align with their treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load of 2-3 individuals per hour, ensuring focused and effective treatment sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapy to deliver cost-effective interventions that enhance patients' mobility.
• Implement alternative treatment strategies that reduce reliance on medications and surgery.
• Incorporate a wide range of evidence-based treatment techniques to address each patient's unique situation and needs.
• Develop wellness programs aimed at promoting fitness and healthy lifestyles tailored to individual patient goals.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient care services to track progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Motivate and support patients during their rehabilitation journey, fostering an environment of encouragement and positivity.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Continuously evaluate and communicate treatment efficacy and patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We focus on treating a diverse clientele, allowing for exposure to various cases that enhance your clinical experience. Our commitment to individualized care ensures that patients feel valued and understood throughout their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Florida Physical Therapist license without any board actions or disciplinary concerns.
• Excellent manual therapy techniques and experience in developing exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a patient-centric focus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
