Work Environment

Our onsite facility offers a supportive and collaborative environment where the focus is on patient-centered care. You will work alongside a team of energetic and knowledgeable healthcare professionals dedicated to helping patients achieve their health goals. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life harmony. Furthermore, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients to identify their individual goals and needs, developing tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Conduct evaluations to assess movement limitations and craft personalized exercise regimens that enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• See an average of 2-3 patients per hour, providing one-on-one attention and adjusting treatments as necessary based on patient feedback and progress.
• Diligently document patient care services, progress, and outcomes to maintain accurate medical records.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques and protocols, focusing on functional outcomes and recovery.
• Provide guidance and education to patients about effective pain management strategies, including alternatives to medication and surgery.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout the rehabilitation process, celebrating their achievements and fostering a positive outlook.
• Regularly assess patients' progress and adjust treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Horizon Flex Therapy, you'll be working primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You'll employ your expertise to improve patient outcomes through individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, ensuring that they achieve optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid Florida Physical Therapist License, demonstrating compliance with state regulations.
• No disciplinary actions or breaches on your licensure history.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number required (or ability to obtain prior to employment).

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Strong manual therapy and exercise prescription skills are essential for this role.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, is advantageous.
• The ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment is crucial.

Compensation and Benefits
