Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by their healthcare providers, developing personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement and modify treatment programs which may encompass therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional training to promote patients' recovery.
• Deliver services with a focus on outstanding customer care, ensuring a positive experience for every patient.
• Engage in clinical discussions with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform treatment interventions.
• Educate and communicate with patients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary for continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Meet and exceed minimum utilization and productivity targets, contributing to the overall operational success of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists treat a diverse array of patients, spanning multiple specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. Your role will involve collaborating with patients of varied ages and backgrounds, tailoring approaches that are sensitive to their unique circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating an ability to connect with patients effectively.
• Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and communication purposes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting, ideally involving diverse patient populations.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not required.
• Experience in establishing strong therapeutic relationships that foster patient engagement and commitment to rehabilitation plans.
• Exemplary skills in team collaboration and community outreach activities.

Compensation and Benefits
