Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans informed by medical histories and physical evaluations.
• Utilize various therapeutic methods, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modern rehabilitation equipment, to enhance patients' mobility and reduce their pain.
• Document treatment regimens, patient progress, and outcomes meticulously in our electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Reevaluate patient conditions periodically, adjusting treatment plans based on progress and response to therapy.
• Provide education and training for patients, their families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic techniques, exercise regimens, and the use of assistive devices.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and seminars to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be responsible for working with a varied patient demographic, including children, adults, and seniors recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or coping with mobility limitations due to conditions such as arthritis, stroke, or sports injuries. Your role is pivotal in guiding them through their recovery journey, helping them regain independence and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively educate and engage with patients and families.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication purposes.
• A valid CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience is not mandatory, we seek candidates with a minimum of two years' experience in a comparable role, preferably within a rehabilitation or outpatient setting. A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly desirable and will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
