Key Responsibilities

• Assess individual patient needs through comprehensive evaluations to establish their specific physical therapy requirements.
• Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.
• Deliver hands-on therapy techniques, which may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound therapy.
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation to track progress, outcomes, and modifications in treatments.
• Foster strong therapeutic relationships with patients and provide consistent communication about their progress, home exercise programs, and any concerns that may arise during treatment.
• Engage actively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cross-disciplinary approach to patient care and support.
• Educate patients and their families about therapies, exercise regimens, and the overall rehabilitation process, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain issues. Every treatment plan is designed to address the unique needs of individuals, ranging from active athletes to elderly patients requiring gentle and restorative care.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy practice, demonstrating a solid understanding of various rehabilitation techniques and methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
