Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients by screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and providing treatment for injuries, diseases, and disabilities using established physical therapy modalities.
• Consult and educate patients and their families on therapy protocols, rehabilitation techniques, and wellness strategies, thereby enhancing their understanding of the recovery process.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, ensuring that goals are measurable and attainable.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for each patient, adhering to regulatory and departmental standards, while also managing billing processes when necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure seamless communication regarding each patient's care journey.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development through workshops, conferences, and team training sessions to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.
• Assume responsibility for supervising physical therapy assistants and aides, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care throughout therapy sessions.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
• Support facility operations by assisting in mentoring, scheduling, and resource management to promote an efficient working environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population ranging from neonates to geriatric patients. Qualifications

• Must possess a current state Physical Therapist license.

• Demonstrated experience of at least two years in a clinical setting, particularly focusing on rehabilitation.
