Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Greenacres, Florida, where you will work alongside a passionate team focused on delivering exceptional patient care. Regular working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine while serving our clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine physical capabilities, range of motion, strength, and functional limitations of patients.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans with a focus on enhancing mobility, increase strength, and alleviating pain through therapeutic exercises and interventions.
• Use therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy, applying these tools appropriately to aid patient recovery.
• Provide manual therapy techniques and neuromuscular re-education to improve patient mobility and function.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment protocols aimed at optimizing patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, enrich their understanding of home exercise plans, and recommend lifestyle modifications for ongoing health maintenance.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of each patient's progress in accordance with clinic guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active and valid Physical Therapy license in Florida.
