Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office located in the picturesque Lake Worth, Florida. The clinic offers a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, designed to make patients feel comfortable and motivated. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate a diverse range of patients suffering from musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports injuries.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced rehabilitation techniques to optimize recovery.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation devices, and resistance bands to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Enhance patient participation by setting measurable, achievable goals that can be tracked over time to gauge progress.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with clinical standards and legal requirements.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management techniques to ensure sustained recovery beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiencies within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, and returning to sports or daily activities after injury. By employing a patient-centered approach, you will work to empower clients of all ages to regain their independence and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Florida Physical Therapist license in good standing is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for motivating and educating patients.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient orthopedic care, is preferred.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation programs specific to sports and orthopedic injuries.

Compensation and Benefits
